Debra is an exceptional Woman; Wife of 38 years to Bishop Rick Garrett, Sr., Mother of 6, Grandparent of 17 and Great Grandparent of 5. She’s a native of Arizona and grew up in the small town of Coolidge. She lost her mother to Diabetes at the age of nine, married at age 16, divorced, and re-married at 24. She has learned how to push past obstacles, broken dreams, and uses her determination to accomplish her goals. Debra is very gifted. She exercises her gifts and talents by working with women, teens and children. She has also hosted many events throughout the years such as: a formal Christmas Ball exclusively for kids and teens, a weekend for teen girls, where they learned the importance of Vision, Purpose, and Purity, and a Women’s Conference called “Each One, Reach One”, which reaches out to women in local shelters. She also teaches Parenting classes where she mentors parents and helps them to develop skills to become better parents.

Debra is an entrepreneur. She was the founder and CEO of three Childcare/Preschools (in operation for a combined total of 20 years), and a Christian K-11th grade school. Today, she uses that experience as a Childcare Consultant where she assists clients with management and operation of childcare centers and schools.

She is also a writer. In addition to writing many faith-based confessions, she has written a simple book called “Biblical ABCs: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Children”. In conversation, she often can be heard saying: “If you have a challenge, I probably have a confession for it!”

Debra has been in ministry for 30 plus years. Currently she pastors alongside her husband at “The Message Church”, located in Phoenix, Arizona and God has also instructed Rick & Debra to establish a ministry specifically designed to meet the needs of people in all aspects of life; spiritual, physical, mental, relational etc. called the “ONE STOP LIFE CENTER”. Due to her deep love and appreciation for business, she has created a platform, which serves as a catalyst for her passion. The 4F’s 4 Success: Fitness, Fashion, Finance, and Faith is a mentoring program which boasts a plan of action for each category. In Fitness, she assists ladies with meal planning to reach their health & fitness goals, become healthier, and develop lifestyles of success. She uses her love for fashion to assists ladies in discovering their Signature Style Statement, building confidence, and self-esteem. Debra truly believes every woman should be wealthy, take control of their money, create multiple streams of income, and invest towards making their dreams come true. People often ask how does she keep it all together? She’ll boldly replies: “If it hadn’t been for God bringing me through the many obstacles I faced in my health, finances and personal life, I would have given up a long time of ago.” She now teaches women how to connect with God, and experience total transformation in life, regardless of past mistakes or failures.

She is the proud creator of many programs that assist in transforming the lives of men, women, teens, and children. “Road to Recovery” is a six-week program that teaches women how to start over again from abused situations, toxic relationships, divorce, and/or losing a loved one. She reaches teens through her “Dreaming into your Destiny” workshops and children through her character Professor Garrett. Professor Garret is a Doctor and Scientist whom teaches God’s Word in a fun, exciting, and experimental way by using scientific experiments.

Her company Total Transformation & Empowerment, LLC is the umbrella where she coaches women with an entrepreneurial mindset to build their business through exercising her method of MBA “Mastering Business Activities”. Debra also conducts seminars and workshops locally and abroad.
